Make a Fall Tree | Q-Tip Painting | Fall Crafts
Autumn leaves are so PRETTY! Let's make a fall tree that is just as colorful as those outside!
This handprint craft is an easy art project that teaches kids about the fall season and lets them explore colors. Kids will trace their hand to make the trunk of the fall tree. To paint the autumn leaves, they'll use Q-tips. When finished, the fall tree can be put on display and is perfect as a Thanksgiving decoration at home or in a school classroom.
This Q-tip painting is geared toward children ages 6 and older with adult supervision. It takes about 20 minutes to complete. For this simple kids' DIY project, you will need green and brown construction paper, watercolor paper, scissors, a pencil, Q-tips, glue and yellow, orange and red paint.
