Would you like to meet a children's book author? Invite author and illustrator Danielle Gillespie-Hallinan to read her comedic book "Moose Mischief: A Pancake Surprise" on video chat at your school for FREE.
In the book, Cooper has the clever idea of making his mom breakfast for her birthday, and his friend the moose offers to help. The moose claims he's the very best chef, but is he REALLY!?! The kids will find out during the author talk!
For the 30-minute presentation, Danielle will read her book and then share how she created it. Students will have about 5 to 10 minutes to ask questions at the end. This talk is ideal for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
How it works? Select your time zone from the drop down menu. Choose the date and time for your virtual conversation. Click the "add to cart" button. In the order note, include your school's name, grade level and if you would prefer a Zoom or Google Meet link.
After making your booking, you will receive emails confirming your purchase and a link for the talk. You will also receive an order form with a discount code for 15% off the book, "Moose Mischief: A Pancake Surprise!" You can use this form to buy the book for your classroom and share it with your students’ parents. That way, kids can continue laughing at the moose's antics long after the talk is over!
If you would like Danielle to discuss a specific topic in the school’s curriculum such as character development or story structure, please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange it. You may also email her if you have any questions. She’s happy to answer them!
Danielle loves talking to students, and she hopes to inspire them to write and illustrate their own stories. Book your conversation with the author today!
