Make Coffee Filter Butterfly | Easy Crafts for Kids
Make colorful butterflies using coffee filters, clothespins and markers in this super fun and easy craft for kids! This project is the perfect springtime activity!
For this craft, kids will learn how to make tie-dyed butterflies using coffee filters and clothespins. Kids will color the coffee filters with markers and then spray them with water, so the colors bleed together.
This is a great way to teach them color theory! The coffee filters will be turned into the butterflies' wings, and the clothespins will become their bodies.
These beautiful butterflies are very easy to make and are great for pretend play when completed! This simple art and craft project is ideal for children ages 4 and older with adult supervision. It takes about 40 minutes to complete.
To make these butterflies, you will need white coffee filters, markers, colored clothespins, a black pipe cleaner, a spray bottle, disposable gloves and a paint tray.
