Make Butterfly Footprint Art | Easy Crafts for Kids
Turn footprints into butterflies in this fun art and craft project for kids!
For this simple art project, kids will dip the soles of their feet into non-toxic washable purple glitter paint and step onto watercolor paper to make footprints. Their footprints will become the butterfly’s wings. Then, they will draw in the butterfly’s body and its antennas with a black marker.
This art project can be framed and is a great decoration for any room. It’s also the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, a birthday or any other special occasion. It’s a wonderful keepsake for any parent, since kids grow up way too fast!
This simple butterfly craft project is ideal for children ages 4 and older with adult supervision. It takes about 20 minutes to complete this project.
For this spring craft for kids, you will need several sheets of watercolor paper, washable kids' paint (I chose purple glitter paint), plastic sheeting, a black marker and a paint tray.
